Administrator - User Accounts

You must login to GiftWrap using a login name and password that has administrator rights to have access to this function.

Administrator - User Accounts allows you to create separate user accounts for each person who should have access to GiftWrap.  Each person with a user account has a unique login name and password.  This allows you to control the access each user has to GiftWrap data, and allows GiftWrap to maintain an audit trail of the data changes made by each user account.

This function also allows you to restore access to a GiftWrap user who has either become locked out or has forgotten their password.

 

To filter the users listed

Mark the box at the top of the screen for the users you wish to include in the list.

All Users: Mark this box to list all users that have ever been set up in the account.

Active users: Mark this box to list all users set up in the account who have a status of Active.

Inactive users: Mark this box to list all users set up in the account who have a status of Inactive.

Locked users: Mark this box to list all users set up in the account who have a status of Locked.

 

To produce a report of all listed user accounts and how they are configured

1. Click Setup > Administrator - User Accounts in the Menu Bar.

To view or modify the information stored for a specific User Account

1. Click Setup > Administrator - User Accounts in the Menu Bar.

If necessary, click a page number or an arrow  to cycle through the records in sort order.

2. Double-click the row in the grid for the User Account you want to review or modify:

Enter or edit information in the User Account Information page as desired.  There is help available on each field.   See Note on password requirements if entering or editing the password.

3. Click to save your changes.

4. Click image\closebox.gif to close the Charity Information page.

 

To delete a User Account

You cannot delete a User Account. If you want a User Account to no longer be available, change its status to Inactive.

 

To add a User Account

1. Click Setup > Administrator - User Accounts in the Menu Bar.

2. Click .

3. Enter the information about the User Account. There is help available on each field.

4. Click when done.

5. Click image\closebox.gif to close the User Account Information page.

 

 

Notes:

·  For security reasons, GiftWrap passwords must meet the following requirements:

1. It must contain a minimum of 8 characters.

2. It must contain at least 3 out of the following four:  upper case, lower case, numeric, or special characters.

3. It must not contain 7 or more consecutive numbers.

4. It must not contain an English word of 6 or more characters if the word is bounded on either side by non-alpha characters or null.

5. It must not contain a string of 3 consecutive identical characters.

6. It must not match the Username either forwards or in reverse.
