K-1 Summary
The K-1 Summary is available only if you have purchased a license for the Pooled Fund Administration module.
The K-1 Summary reports the amount and character of the income received by each pooled income fund participant during the specified tax year. This tax information is provided to each participant on a Schedule K-1 form or substitute K-1 letter.
The K-1 Summary provides an excellent resource for reviewing tax information before it is sent to fund participants and for recording this information in a concise format for record keeping purposes.
To set up data for the K-1 Summary
The K-1 Summary is driven off of data entered under PIF > Maintain Fund Tax Data, as well as the payments made to each participant during the selected tax year.
Prior to producing the K-1 Summary for a specific tax year, you must enter fund income data for that year for each fund that you intend to include in the report. How?
To produce a K-1 Summary
1. Click PIF > Tax Reporting in the Menu Bar.
2. Choose K-1 Summary in the Report Type area.

7. Click Close in the Tax Reporting window to close the function.
Notes:
· If you see an error log, fix the errors it identifies, then run the K-1 Summary again.
To print the error log, click Print, then click OK in the standard Windows Print dialog box. Alternatively, you may save the log in a file that you can print or review later. When done, click Cancel.
