Payment Summary
The Payment Summary summarizes payment information on each income beneficiary included in the report.
This report is designed to let you list and analyze all of the payments made to a specific group of people within a specific time period, such as all charitable gift annuity payments made from 4/1/2009 to 6/30/2009. It also provides a convenient way to review payment information for errors, prior to printing checks or creating an electronic funds transfer file.
1. Click Payments > Payment Summary Reports in the Menu Bar.
2. Click Payment Summary in the Report Type area.
3. Mark in the Payment Type area whether you want to include checks and/or electronic funds transfer payments (EFTs).
4. Enter in the Check Date area the range of payment dates you want to include.
5. Enter other selection and formatting criteria for the report. There is help available on each field.
6. Click OK to view the report.
7. Do the following, as needed:
8. Click to close the report.
9. Click to close the Payments page.
Notes:
· The Payment Summary displays the total number of payments at the bottom of the report. This number is usually equal to the number of checks that will be printed for the same group. However, the total on the Payment Summary will be less than the number of checks actually produced if the payments to one or more beneficiaries represent the distributions of more individual gifts than can be itemized on the advice printed with the check. In this situation, GiftWrap will print as many checks as necessary to list all the individual gifts on a series of advices and will print the correct payment amount on the first check and "VOID" on all the subsequent checks for the same beneficiary.
· The Payment Summary should be produced in landscape, the default orientation.
