Outside Transmitter for 1099 File
The Outside Transmitter for 1099 File window lets you enter the transmitter information to include in the 1099 file when the transmitter of the file is an outside agency/administrator, not the filing charity.
1. Choose 1099 Tax > Outside Transmitter for 1099 File in the Menu Bar.
2. Enter or edit any information necessary in the Outside Transmitter for 1099 File window. There is help available on each field.
3. Click OK.
Notes:
· The information you enter serves these purposes:
1. It is included in the 1099 file when you choose Outside Agency/Administrator as the transmitter in the Create IRS 1099 File tab .
2. It appears in the Transmitter Information area of the Create IRS 1099 File tab when you choose Outside Agency/Administrator is Transmitter.
